Requirements of transfer performance in transfer printing paper requirements of transfer performance in transfer printing paper

in the process of transfer printing, first print the pattern and pattern on the transfer printing paper to form a layer of film with corresponding color and pattern, and then transfer it from the transfer paper to the surface of printed matter. Therefore, the transfer performance of high molecular substances on the surface of transfer printing paper plays a key role in the reproducibility of printing pattern. Especially in the later transfer process, the pattern should maintain its characteristics of lifelike pattern, meticulous pattern, clear hierarchy, strong three-dimensional sense, etc., which requires high performance of transfer printing paper, mainly including the following aspects

first of all, the paper is required to have sufficient strength, and the surface of the paper will not fall off wool and powder. Printing ink is made of carbon black or other pigment particles uniformly dispersed in dry oil, animal glue or resin. In the process of printing and stripping, there will be a certain tension between the ink and the paper surface. The faster the speed is, the greater the tension is. Therefore, 5 Paper tensile testing machine: the paper needs to be tested for tensile strength, ring compression strength, vertical compression, horizontal compression, edge compression, peel strength, etc. The paper surface is required to have sufficient strength. Transfer paper is best made of softwood pulp. Among them, chemical pulp and mechanical pulp account for half and half respectively. This can not only ensure that the paper automatic electronic tensile testing machine has sufficient strength for the loading and unloading of the sample, but also make it not brittle and yellow during high temperature treatment

secondly, from import to self production, transfer printing paper should have a certain smoothness and tensile strength. Because if the smoothness of the transfer paper is poor and the surface is uneven, it will bear uneven force during transfer. During the experiment, various metal and non-metallic materials (plastic, nylon, etc.) can be made into a disc pin type or a double ring type, so that the dye sublimation rate on the paper is inconsistent. Therefore, even if the pattern on the paper is very clear, it will become blurred when transferred to the cloth. If the tensile strength of the transfer paper is poor, it will be obviously deformed due to moisture and force in the process of manufacturing printing paper and cloth, resulting in poor definition of the printed pattern. Such transfer paper can only be used for printing products that do not require high definition

again, it is required that the affinity of transfer printing paper to color ink should be small. Because the transfer printing paper is only an intermediate of pattern transfer, and the ultimate goal is to require the pattern to be clearly transferred to the surface of the printed matter, the small affinity will make the pattern easily transferred from the surface of the transfer paper to the surface of the printed matter, and will not leave too much on the transfer paper, which will have a casual impact on the quality of the printed pattern

finally, the transfer printing paper should have proper moisture absorption. Poor hygroscopicity will cause color ink matching; Excessive moisture absorption will cause the deformation of transfer paper, so the amount of filler should be strictly controlled when producing transfer paper
